Ender 5 LED mount for hot end
cults3d
Today's design of the day is an LED mounting bracket for the Ender 5. Since the belt runs in the front and rear v-slot of the x-axit and the wheels run in the top and bottom v-slot of the x-axis there's really not a good way to mount and LED strip to the Ender 5 that will illuminate the print bed. This model will attach to the bolts that go through the wheels on the X carriage using a couple of M5 nuts, (you may want to use longer bolts) and then the LED rail just slides onto the mounting bracket. This bracket uses 24 volt LED tape that is 10 mm wide. You will also need 2 M5 x 35 bolts to replace the bolts that hold the X carriage onto the rails. You can easily replace the two top bolts, one at a time, and then install the carriage mount onto the longer bolts using M5 nuts. Please consider providing a Tip for the Designer as I am on a very limited Social Security income. I do these designs because I have fun doing them and I could use a little money to buy filament to do my test prints. You may also send an Amazon Gift Card to benebrady@gmail.com
