Ender 5 Hero Me Gen 5 no Y offset for BL Touch and OEM / Microswiss Hot End
thingiverse
Wanted to move from Hero Me Gen 3 to Gen 5 unfortunatly the new base with gantry made the Y axis crash on max Y (was using regular 5015 fan duct) even with modifying the Y Home offset by 9 (loosing 9 mm of printing !). I then decided to remove the spacer, everything fit fine with 5015 lightweight fan ducts on my ender 5 ... no more crashs and maximum print size ! So if you feel like Ender 5 is a special snoflakes and need a base for itself without gantry space, you've come to the right design ! All credits to Hero Me Gen 5 author, just merged and trimmed part together. During printing had a small issue with piece being too tight... Might be due to my flow rate. Lighlty trimed the hole and everything works fine again ! Edit 11/09 : added the f3d file for all the remixer !
