The Flex Shaft: This cost-effective model is perfect for DIY enthusiasts and hobbyists alike. To install, first remove the sliding top by unscrewing it in the opposite direction of the thread. If there's any lateral play, pull out the axis and apply a single layer of aluminum tape around the bearings to ensure smooth operation. Printing: Print the Flex Shaft holder upside-down as shown in the attached picture. No supports are needed for this print, so feel free to focus on achieving optimal results. To get the best possible outcome, use thick walls in your print settings. Additionally, make sure your "Horizontal Expansion" is calibrated... a typical value for Ender-5 printers is around -0.07mm. Flat Headed screws needed: You'll need the following screws to assemble your Flex Shaft holder: 2 x M3x23, 3 x M3.5x19 (wood type), 1 x M3x9, and 1 x M3x6.
