This is a very simple solution to the issues many have had with the extruder stepper getting hot after using a relocation mod like this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3595328 by IamSLy. Even if your V_ref is set correctly, your stepper simply won't be ably to sink heat into the frame like it used to. Mine heated up significantly more after relocating the extruder but the relocation of the stepper motor along with a Capricorn bowden tube fixed my stringing issues so I wasn't about to revert it back to how it was. This solution costs about $5 on aliexpress plus maybe some wire and soldering depending on your setup. I bought a blower rated for 24V but I found it a little loud so I run mine off of the 12V supply I use for my laser engraver module and it's virtually inaudible. It keeps my extruder stepper in the 30-40 C range as opposed to the near 50-60+ range it was at before. Simply use the left screw you used to remount your extruder to attach this blower mount. This is the blower I used: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000141395273.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.75692350UEJVQF&algo_pvid=64fee9d9-d245-45bb-ab1d-911112279f58&algo_expid=64fee9d9-d245-45bb-ab1d-911112279f58-9&btsid=0b0a556616125098582374253ee127&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ Here's an example of a heatsink (I had mine from a separate kit already): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000680713099.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.c0ec250fBtvn1P&algo_pvid=76cbc8f5-74eb-41e2-a47b-6ec5109f011b&algo_expid=76cbc8f5-74eb-41e2-a47b-6ec5109f011b-2&btsid=0b0a556216125099426233403e8e6b&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_
