Ender 5 electronics case

This case is to suit the Ender 5 with an SKR V1.3 or MKS Gen L. It is specifically designed for my application of adding a heated build enclosure. Therefore, it draws and expels air from the underside edges of the printer to avoid the hot air inside.Other advantages include retaining factory switches and plugs, being able to access the mainboard from the top, and easy access to the USB port/SD card.If you want a simple solution, a small adaptor is included that will get the new mainboard in place, but you won't have access to ports easily. Suit printing from SD card via an MKS TFT touchscreen. All covered in detail here: https://youtu.be/kTm-5Vo_ekkUPDATE: I have converted my Ender 5 to run Klipper with the CB1 and Manta M4P mainboard. STL added for this combo.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:CrealityPrinter: Ender 5Rafts:NoSupports: YesResolution:0.2Infill: 20%Filament: X3D PLA Notes:I recommend turning on support from the build platform only. This will apply a tiny bit of support on only a few parts but this will assist in keeping everything clean and accurate.Post-Printing =============I've left gaps to aid in assembly, but you may need to file if your pieces don't fit snugly.M3 x 50 mm bolts are used to hold the multi-part sections together. M3 x 30 mm for the lid hinges, and M3 x 8 - 10 mm to hold on the passive lid covers.Original hardware and switches for everything else. This design gets more rigid as you assemble it.Modifications that need to be made:Standard LCD cable will be too short. This was designed with an MKS TFT in mind.Red mains wires to the front switch will need extending.Beware when dealing wit the power supply! It has mains voltage that can seriously harm you.
