Ender 5+ Dyze Mounts
thingiverse
I compiled a couple fan options from other users, modified versions of those, and designed a mount for the Dyze Pro hotend and extruder. This mount is 4mm thick and comes in two versions with and without BL Touch. Some of the fan mounts include BL Touch mounts as well, so make sure you read the file name to verify that you have the part you want. I printed the prototype mount using a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height and found that the holes for the eccentric nuts are about 0.25mm smaller than they should be, the holes for the other wheels are 0.1 to 0.15mm smaller, and the small holes are all about 0.1mm smaller than required. I'm not sure if this can be corrected by printing in finer detail or if I need to enlarge the holes to compensate for shrinkage. I'll work on it as I have time and post updates when I can. 6/23/20 I enlarged the holes in Tinkercad but haven't printed the new mount yet to get measurements. I've managed to line up the BLTouch base and modified fan mount. It's set up for the GDSTime 50mm fan, which were the cheapest ones on ebay/amazon. 10/28/20 I've almost finished the mount, but there's an issue with the BLtouch mount being too low to use with the Geetech model that has a metal probe. If you're not using touch then this current model is ready to use. I printed this model in ABS and mounted it on my machine using the wheels/spacers from my Enomaker direct drive mount. It's very sturdy and didn't warp or bend in a 45C enclosure. The file "newfan" is the newest model of side-mounted fan, which is sturdier but hasn't been cleaned up yet and is still blocky. ***NOTE*** In the most recent file upload, the touch mount has been moved up and should clear the nozzle, but I haven't printed it to verify yet. The file "dblfanwtouch" is a stretched version of the original fan, as I had problems with the vents touching the heater block. This version is untested. 11/9/20 update: I modified a base (with and without BLTouch) to work with a modified version of the bullseye hotend fan and the Zephyr V2 cooling fan. The four files that work together start with "bull". I'd love to tag these individuals but the function is not currently working, so I'll do it later along with links to their parts below. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2759439/files https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4622729
