Ender 5 Direct Drive Filament Guide
thingiverse
This is my take on a filament guide for a Direct Drive Conversion on my Ender 5 Pro. It uses a Bowden tube mount to keep the original spool location intact. The design features a removable tube assembly for attachment to the extruder, which can be secured with a M5 bolt. This allows for easy removal of the guide while keeping the block attached via a cable tie, making it easier to access the extruder arm and feed in new filament straight. To mount the spool filament guide, you'll need M4 bolts and T-nuts. For the filament tube mount, I reused the M3x50 bolts that came with the Direct Drive kit. Two larger Bowden tube fittings are used for the termination holes. I sourced my Direct Dive kit from Fargo 3D Printing's website at https://www.fargo3dprinting.com/products/ender-5-direct-drive-upgrade-kit/.
