Put a tiny slot in the cable chain link, drilled two holes on each side of one bracket and secured the chain by pushing a 0,7 mm metal wire through. When choosing where to fasten this chain link, I disabled my steppers and stretched the XY around to make sure it wouldn't be too tight and pull on the cables or to slack and not fitting its purpose. Did this because the chain was slipping around and I didn't like the look of cable ties.
