Design in progress... All parts used to the project are uploaded, except for the ones borrowed from other things. UPDATE 3 of August 2020 One user reminded me that adapters used for attaching the chain from the bed to the frame etc. was not included or described. They are borrowed from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3274980. Please note... The actual cable chain and accessories are unedited, used directly from the design of Johnniewhiskey at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2920060. The stepper cover with cable chain attachment is unedited from Cr6surfs at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3445013. New end stops for X and Y axis are necessary for this arrangement, so files for new ones are included. Note that they also act as silent end stops, which stop the banging noise when homing, reducing wear and tear on the hardware. Further information about other parts, pictures, and print details follow. Use your preferred filament; I've used rPLA and ePLA from Filamentive. 0.2 mm Layer height 100% infill (or as you prefer) Use support when printing X&Y axis brackets/trays, and whenever you like. For other parts, use your own preferences. For the other thing parts used, follow their recommendations. Materials used on the project: X axis: 2 pcs. 4x10mm stainless button head screws 2 pcs. 4mm washer 2 pcs. 4 mm T.Nuts Y axis: 2 pcs. 4x10mm stainless button head screws 2 pcs. 4mm washer 2 pcs. 4 mm T.Nuts Endstop X axis: 1 pc. 4x6mm stainless countersunk button head screw 1 pc. 4 mm T.Nut To fixate cable chain at the end in the tray, mounted through the hole in the chain: 2 pcs. 3x12mm stainless button head screws 2 pcs. 3mm washer 2 pcs. 3mm nut Endstop Y axis: The stock bolt and nut Cable ties etc. For other settings, use your own print experience and preferences.
