Ender 5 bowden clip
thingiverse
Noticed that my Bowden tube was moving up and down during retractions due to stock clips not being thick enough. These clips allow for movement which worsens over time. This design allows you to replace the clips with a new one that has a tab for easier removal, perfect for those with fat fingers. The stock clips on the printer were 1.7mm and 1.8mm in thickness, but this new clip is designed at 2.0mm. Depending on your calibration, it may print thicker or thinner, so use your slicer to scale accordingly if it doesn't fit or is too loose. Alternatively, you can use sandpaper to smooth out any excess material. This clip prints quickly in just a couple of minutes, weighs less than 1 gram, and uses only 80mm of filament. It's perfect for using up those loose ends lying around your workshop. I've seen people replace clips with zip ties before, but this solution is more elegant and practical. After all, there's nothing quite like having your printer print its own parts.
