Ender 5 Base Frame Edge Connector
thingiverse
I removed the hardware casing of the Ender 5, realizing it actually also serves as a stabilizer for the lower frame. Therefore, I designed these connectors - they are screwed to the base frame using M5x35 bolt nuts (see picture) which actually fix themselves in the slot profile. I printed them using 100% infill and ABS filament. NOTE: The holes are too small for the bolts, I used a steel drill to enlarge them. Takes about 10 seconds per hole, no big deal using ABS. Not sure about PLA tho. I can upload the source fusion file if necessary.
