Ender 5 and 5Pro Bed Brace Brackets

Ender 5 and 5Pro Bed Brace Brackets

thingiverse

These are easy to print and very solid bed reinforcement brackets for the Ender 5 and Ender 5 Pro. Unlike others, these require you to drill four precise holes in the carriage plate so the braces can be securely bolted to the carriage rather than relying on an interference fit. This allows all parts of the braces to be shielded from direct heat emanating from the underside of the heated bed. Print in the orientation as downloaded. I recommend using 4-5 walls and a top/bottom thickness of 1.4mm at 0.2mm layers with 20% infill. The only support required is from the build plate for the nut recesses in the back of the brackets themselves. Other than that, these print without any additional support. The ones pictured are printed in CF PETG but PLA should work fine as long as you're not printing materials that require high bed temperatures and an enclosure. You will need 12 x M4 Nyloc nuts, eight x M4x20mm socket head screws, and four x M4x14mm socket head screws.
