This redesigned spool ensures effortless filament entry into the feeder with assisted side loading.\r\n\r\nA sturdy mounting plate, maximized in thickness, accommodates existing bolts on the X-axis stepper drive mount.\r\n\r\nUpon print completion, careful attention is required when removing supports, particularly around the spool. Initially, apply a firm twist; it's wise to leave supports intact for this phase. The spool will then begin rotating about its shaft and, with continued manual rotation, will eventually become detached enough for smooth use.
