This filament protector is incredibly easy to use, making it one of the simplest options available. Its large end is designed to fit snugly over the ZED screw bushing without requiring any screws, ensuring it stays in place securely. The inside diameter features a stepped design, transitioning from 13mm to 9mm, allowing it to accommodate both the bushing and the 8mm ZED screw as it twists freely within. For optimal printing results, I recommend orienting the part so that the larger end is facing upwards during the printing process. When I printed this protector at its lowest resolution setting, it fit perfectly without any issues. In the future, I may attempt to create a version 2.0 that enables the smaller portion to rotate freely, reducing wear over time. However, if you do notice the protector starting to show signs of wear while printing, all you need to do is simply turn it slightly to align with a fresh spot. Enjoy!
