Because I'm leveraging the BLTouch on my Ender 3, I can repurpose the original Z endstop switch as a reliable filament runout sensor. The design of this holder also functions exceptionally well as a filament guide. Printed from PETG with a robust 100% infill. To assemble it properly, use an M3 tap and create threads in two holes for PCB screws. It is crucial to utilize a 2mm drill and calibrate the filament hole accurately.
