Ender 3 Z-Axis Motor Adjustable Mount
thingiverse
This design is based on the design of "Adjustable Z-motor mount for Ender 3 (also Pro) - M3 version by matteeee". What I did : - Make the side part a little shorter, since there was no point on having it longer - Increased the side support to increase strength - Added chamfers and the main reasons to this remix : - Creating spacers. Because ideally the motor position should allow the lead screw to easily slide inside the shaft coupler I needed spacer to attach it at the perfect position. You can stretch the spacer to get multiple sizes (0.2, 0.4 and 0.8mm should be enough) or exactly the size you need. - Creating a version to attach on the inside of the printer. Because I added a second Z axis on my ender 3, the new location for the power supply needed the outside free to attach the supports. ATTENTION: The M3 and M4 versions are the size of the side screw, the top holes are always the M3 size used by the stepper motors. Since both versions (outside and inside) are design from the same part, the outside model is suited for the left side (viewing the printer from the front) and the inside version is for the right side. To get the opposite sides you just need to mirror the object in your slicer. For reference: - on the top, to attach the motor, 3x10mm screws work great - on the side, to attach to the frame, 3x12 or 4x12mm depending on the model you chose Adding washers is optional but great for the extra grip.
