Ender 3 Z-Axis Modification to 345mm for cheap ======================== I just modified my ender to print taller things! * Replace both side profiles (400mm) 2040 v-nut with 2 new 500mm profiles. * Don't forget to drill the two 4,5mm holes for the powersupply! * Tap 5mm threads in the holes on top and bottom of the profiles. * Print the Z-Axis Nut extender. * Tap a 3mm thread in the holes. * Remove the Z-nut, bolt it to the extender, then bolt the extender to the z-axis holder. It might be neccesery to grind the big hole in the middle with sandpaper to fit the z-nut properly. ##For detailed information refer https://github.com/Creality3DPrinting/Ender-3 If you can see, i changed the steppers earlier for better performance. But that is not absolutely necessary.
