Ender 3 Z Axis Limit Switch Upgrade
thingiverse
I was having trouble getting my Ender 3 to get a consistent reading from the z axis limit switch even though I had tried multiple, so I decided to try and design an upgrade for it. They way this works is you take the metal arm off the limit switch of your Ender 3 (yes this is a quite permanent move), and then you install this piece on the crossmember of the Ender and recalibrate your bed height. With any luck without that metal arm the limit switch should get a far more accurate reading as this removes a lot of the room for error. I've been using this for about a week now with no issues whatsoever and besides my own stupidity I haven't had to readjust the bed yet. I also included a picture of what the limit switch should look like after taking off the metal arm. It's not hard to do I did it with a basic pair of clippers and it came right off.
