Installing a damper on the Ender-3 causes the table to jerk on the motor when it's homing. To resolve this issue, loosen the front tensioner on the belt and install an extended mount in its place, replacing the metal mounting plate. This new mount shifts the motor back 5mm, giving the table just enough clearance to avoid hitting the motor.
