Ender 3 Y-Belt Tensioner

Ender 3 Y-Belt Tensioner

You'll need an M4x25mm bolt to reuse the existing two bearings in the Creality tensioner, turning them into a pulley. My Ender 3 has the build-plate wheel set up in a staggered configuration, which is different from newer models where the wheels are directly opposite each other for more stability. Drilling new holes in the aluminum plate was relatively easy. I used a drill press, but a hand drill would also have worked well. However, when I moved the front left wheel, it bumped against the Y-Axis pulley holder. I could have re-drilled new holes and moved the wheels back slightly, but instead I came up with this new pulley holder. It was printed in PLA with 4 walls to make it almost completely solid. After about 40 hours of printing on this tensioner, it's working flawlessly.
