Ender 3 Y-axis Flexi cam mount
thingiverse
Tinkered a custom Y-rail mount to fit seamlessly onto my Ender 3's standard rail system. Next, I successfully modified the 2020 ball-joint knob to integrate perfectly with the new setup. I paired this innovative modification with eatthistim's ingenious Ender3 Flexi PiCam Mount (available on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4041117 ) to complete my camera mount and snapping cone system. In the accompanying photo, you can see that the modified Y-rail mount functions flawlessly. However, I'm still fine-tuning my final camera setup. To produce this versatile mounting solution, you have three printing options: 1. Print the entire assembly on its side with supports to achieve a complete and integrated mount. 2. Print the base and knob separately: The base should be printed on its side, while the ball-joint knob is printed upright. Secure both parts together using an M3 bolt, and ensure you provide internal support for the print. 3. Print the base without supports and with the knob standing upright; this version relocates the cable holes to allow for a potential print without any additional support structures.
