Recently installed dampers on my Ender 3 X & Y motors, and now they're getting pretty hot since I isolated them from the frame's heatsinking. This prompted me to figure out how to install a fan to actively cool them during prints. This fan mount clip is specifically designed for the NEMA 17 motor on the Ender 3 X-Axis, taking into account the metal plates that make up the gantry and partially surround the back of the motor. Once printed, you simply attach these clips to the 40mm fan of your choice using M3 screws (I used M3x12). Take note that this mount is directional with the skinnier clips on the print bed side of the motor.
