Ender 3 X-Axis Duck Perch

Ender 3 X-Axis Duck Perch

I replaced the main board in my Ender 3 Pro with a BigTreeTech SKR Mini E3 V2.0. That left me wondering "What do I do with the little rubber duck that came along for the ride?" It seems like a waste not to do something with it. I decided to have him/her watch over my prints for good luck. A reasonably good view would be available from atop the X axis motor (gear really) cover. The easiest thing to do would have been to use some double sided tape. That seemed too pedestrian. What to do? If only I had a time machine. Great Scott! Wrong movie. Wait! I have a 3D printer! So, I downloaded the CAD file for the Ender 3 Pro from Creality's site and set to modifying the cover. Now the BTT stowaway has a safe perch to ride in.
