Ender 3 Vibration damper foot
thingiverse
I Created this after using the Spring style feet (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3316671), I liked the feet but didn't like how they fell off the printer with the slightest movement of the printer. I have used some Silicon feet on my other printer and that had drastically reduced down the noise coming from it. I thought I could do something a little better than a block of silicon here. I would print out one or two of the molds, to create the silicon dampers with, I have used smooth-on 00-20 or 00-30 both work well and give a good squish. you can create the dampers in the time it takes to print out the top and bottom of the feet so I would start with them. Once you have the dampers de-molded and the tops and bottoms of the feet printed, insert each of the dampers into both a top and bottom of a foot, a small portion of the damper will remain between the top and bottom, this is the squishy part that helps keep vibrations down. The top part has two cleats for a lack of a better word that insert into the slots on a 40x40mm extrusion, this will hold the foot to the printer even when lifting it up and allow you to position the feet where you want them on the bar. I didn't remove the original feet and just pushed the new feet right up next to them
