Come Join Our Patreon! For years now, I've been building up an extensive collection of busts, cosplay, props, and all sorts of models specifically made for our Patreon page. If you're interested in seeing the models that some of our 400+ members are enjoying printing, please join our Facebook group! https://www.facebook.com/groups/333491834120262/ As it stands now, all new members gain access to our older models, including suits, full-scale prints (like a 1:1 scale articulated Droideka), helmets, detailed busts, and dioramas – all for the low subscription of $10 per month. The V8 scoop part, air filter, and cover were remixed from DarkDragon's V8 engine. I modified the base and innards and added a lever (since the original is servo-driven). Printing this design is relatively simple – you'll need M1.2 x 4mm screws if you don't glue the cover onto the front. If you prefer to go for a more professional look, you'll require 4 screws for the front cover and 2 for the optional back air filter. 3D Printing Settings The main Supercharger – although tempting to print upright (and it's completely flat at the front) – ultimately depends on your printer. If it can handle very detailed first layers, go for it. However, if your printer prefers larger flat first layers, stick with the default print orientation. All of these models can be printed without supports. Bridging is gradual, so you don't need to increase speeds. Slow down your first layers as they have some small rotations. Adding 3-4 top layers will also help. The inlet can be a bit tricky to print – suggest printing at least 0.2mm and slowing it down, around 50ms.
