I've had issues with my M3 screws bottoming out too soon with the original design. The ones I own have a 25 mm shaft and a 3 mm head. Another issue I've encountered was that the head would rub against the side of the printhead.The solution was to bring the bracket 5.25 mm out, so there is enough room for everything.
