Ender 3 v2 Z axis parking pin
thingiverse
I found my Z axis drooped when the printer was off, leaving it to rest on the hot end against the bed. This didn't seem optimal. I designed this pin to give the z axis something to "park" on, away from the bed surface, while the printer is off and the stepper is not keeping it elevated. It goes into one of the unused holes from where the E3 / E3Pro vertically mounts the power supply. I ran a bunch of tests on pin diameter, and 4.5mm worked best on my printer. On my E3v2, this required no major cleanup or sanding, other than removing the support. Since this is printed horizontally, the pin should be strong against any shear forces. If your printer hole is bigger / smaller, I can add versions with varying sized pins.
