This plate holds the x-motor cables to keep them straight. There's a version that works with the Ender 3 Cable Chain made by Johnniewhiskey. The xz versions are meant to be used with the extruder cables and the x-motor cables. I haven't tested the xz versions since I no longer have the extruder cables linked with the x cables.
