Ender 3 V2 - X Axis Camera Mount and Clip
thingiverse
I saw the excellent articulating mount by Sneaks, and wanted it for my Ender 3. As his original design was for the Prusa MK3/2 I thought I'd add a mount for the Ender 3. I also wanted the camera to move with the gantry to give a more unique Octolapse view where the top of the print stays still and the base plate seems to lower in relation. I'll include some samples of those Octolapse results from testing also. So I took DrStreet's plain Ender 3 cover (without Dragon logo) and added one base link from Sneaks. I then designed my own clip mechanism to offer a slightly spring loaded tension keeping the cover in place without any adhesives etc. For me, I also printed Sneaks' articulating arm in two colors and combined this with a 24" black Pi Camera V2 ribbon cable with my RaspPi 4B + Pimoroni HyperPixel 4.0 Touch screen and fan. With this specific setup the ribbon cable naturally folds under the arm due to the angles the ribbon cable are kept at for the print.
