Ender 3 V2 Upgraded Electronics Tray
thingiverse
This is the final version of my previous electronics tray which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5930630. Which was remixed from here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4916008. Both of these are designed with a printer running Klipper firmware in mind. Both of my options were designed around the SKR Mini E3V3 in regard to the board mounts. However, you can change this to fit your setup. This latest version has numerous improvements in aesthetics and function but comes at a cost. The front face is now one piece and the tray itself is one piece. This lets us print the front with the face down giving us better quality around the edges and even some texture depending on your bed type. I also designed this to use M3 heatset inserts so you'll need some of those or you can remix to get rid of them. (I've included the Fusion file for you.) Additionally, I added some cut-out up front to use my swinging screen mount for a 5-inch Pi screen. Added decorative cutouts and diffusers for a couple of Neopixels up front. The whole thing now screws in firmly to the ends of the extrusion. I also included the file for my PSU cover which allows everything to come neatly through the bottom. It uses a Noctua NF A9x14. All in all, I love this setup and along with the cable chains, it really cleans things up. Hope you all enjoy it!You're going to need:----------Tray-----------------6 M3x5 heat-set inserts for the tops (there are four holes on each side but you'll only use three)6 M3x6 screws for tops4 M5x10 Screws to go into the extrusion2 M3x 5 screws for the voltage step-down board that mounts center rear of the tray.-------------Screen Mount-----------8 M3x8 screws2 M3x 10-12 screws2 M3 roll-in or hammerhead T-nuts nuts4 FHCS M3x6 screws (button head)
