Ender 3 V2 Pen Holder
thingiverse
Pen Holder for the Ender 3 V2 for Pen Plotting. Mount it in front of the BL-Touch probe mount on the back plate. The BL-Touch mount goes in the middle of this and the back-plate. You'll need an M3 screw and nut to secure the pen in place. Machine Settings for the reduced bed size: Extruder offset - X: -40 Y: -50 (mm) Bed Size: X: 195, Y: 165 (for prusia slicer or orca slicer) X: 195, Y: 215 (for Cura) (don't ask me why the difference) Use auto-bed levelling if possible. Bring the z-axis to 0.5mm and drop the pen in so that it is touching the bed and use an m3 screw and nut to tighten it in place. For my setup a z-offset of 0.35 was good. *Cura's z-hop worked better than PS or Orca. No drag marks.* If you're using the Minimus hotend with 2 fans like me, you'll need to shim the back of the pen holder on far out edge, to prevent the pen holder sticking to the fan. For normal fan assembly this is not needed. I am using a ballpoint pen for this, CD markers also work fine, but they dry up quicker. Step file provided to let you edit.
