Ender 3 v2 parts cooler duct TRON-edition
thingiverse
Made a parts cooler duct to specifically fit on a stock Ender 3 V2. It's made so I could fit a quieter 40x40 fan. The cooler duct clips on the extruder tube and stays in place with no issues. The original parts don't need any modifications (apart from the parts cooler fan...) to make this part fit. I tried loads of other designs on Thingivers, but none seem to work for me or needed (messy) modifications. This is a clip on part that fitted my needs. Holes on the duct for the fan are deliberately small so you can use them with screws or bore them out to make a bolt fit. It's your choice! Hope my design is useful for other creators out there. The parts don't need supports to print. Ducts are rounded internally to prevent them form buckling during printing. STL-files are positioned the way they should be printed. Duct needs to be printed on it's "back": holes for the clip (and recess for the extruder tube) need to be facing down on the print-bed to print without supports. Fan shroud needs to be printed with the front facing down, because of the spacers on the back for better airflow. The clip is self explanatory I guess. Printed everything with a 0.4mm nozzle with no issues. Have fun using it!
