This lets you move the stock fan from over the z and e stepper drivers to above the x and y drivers (these are the ones overheating on e3v2). I also suggest doing 3 other things. Remove the board from under the heated bed to avoid that heat. Unplug all the cables and undo all the zipties then replug them in a way that the wires arent blocking the air from the fan. If you place the enclosure where mine is in the picture, you can do that without modifying any connections or wires. If you are feeling just a little more adventurous, cut the connector off the mainboard fan wire and strip back the housing about 10mm. Then wire it in at the same lead as the hotend fan. That is the other smaller red and black wire held in by screws inside the green plastic things. This lets the fan run full speed as soon as the printer is turned on and printing rather than wait for the part cooling fan to come on later in the print or possibly never if you are printing without the part cooling fan. This is a remix from another cover made by someone to utilize a larger fan. I didn't want to buy a fan so this was my solution for using only stock parts that came with the printer. So far it has worked for me. FYI, the square holes next to the round holes where the fan mounts are for using zip ties to keep the fan in place. If you have the right screws then those should work too.
