Ender 3 v2 low profile dual roller spool holder
thingiverse
This is custom spool holder I designed to accomplish the following: 1. Low profile for my smallest and most awkward spools 2. Use rollers rather than resting on bearings for reels that don't have a solid core, like cardboard ones 3. Using bearings for a smooth action 4. Prevents racking as the filament is pulled from one side 5. Prevent rocking as the filament slacks This spool holder is designed primarily for the ender 3 v2 as it uses the included nut plus has fitments to lock it around the arm to prevent rotation Additionally, you will need 4 608 2RS Bearings (8mm x 22mm x 7mm), the kind often used for skateboards etc. Optionally, you will need 2 m4x6 bolts to act as locking pins. The spool holder itself can be printed mostly without supports, except around the locking nut. I use the support blocker plugin on Cura to block everything out. The rollers should be printed vertically in order to ensure you have a smooth surface.
