Ender 3 V2 Filament Sensor Mount
thingiverse
I created my own sensor that just slides on using the reality 3D printer filament detector found on Amazon below. it uses M3 size nuts and bolts and 688 2RS bearings. you can find the bearing inserts and the outer wheels elsewhere on Thingiverse. that's what I did. I designed this part so it doesn't need support for ease of printing. it has great structural strength. by that I mean when you are pushing material through it, the mount doesn't bend to risk breaking. I have the dual gear metal extruder upgrade, I sized the height of the mount to this extruder so it goes in straight. maybe other extruders will have a slight height difference. There are two rollers. That way if you mount your material up top it should still work for you, I prefer to have my material on rollers to the side of my printer. Please tell me how it works for you or if you have any suggestions for improvements! sensor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087325BPG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 bearings: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0854DZNCJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
