Ender 3 v2 Filament Guide With Foam Holder
thingiverse
This remixed filament guide adds a 75mm long vertical tube. The opening at the top of the tube is 14mm wide, enough room to fit a piece of foam for the filament to pass through to remove dust etc from it. The opening at the bottom is 3.5mm so it can accommodate various filament diameters. It also helps set the filament at a slightly curved angle as it enters the extruder to avoid snaps and tugging problems. You can reposition the guide on the spoolholder stand in case you have a super tall print that would make the extruder go above the bottom of the vertical guide when it's set low on the spoolholder stand. The arm is also a bit thicker than the guide this is remixed from because I found that the original had begun drooping down after I'd been using it for a few months. I printed this in PETG from Yousu with 15% infill & 3 walls at 0.16 layer height / 0.40 line width, on its top with no supports as shown in the pic.
