Extruder fan mount for Ender 3 v2 (stock extruder mount) - The problem: Hot extruder step motor + Aluminum double gear plate = soft filament. >The extruder step motor gets so hot that the heat transfers to the aluminum double gear extruder plate and softens the filament so much that it easily deforms, causing it to get stuck in the extruder gears before going into the Bowden tube (and you thought your nozzle was clogged.) The solution: Cool the step motor. I created this mount to add a 40mm fan to cool the extruder step motor and fix the filament getting stuck in the extruder gears. I spliced the cables to the cooling part fans. Features: - Gap between the plate and the motor allows for hot air to flow out of the holes and duct, away from the print area - Pressure-fit, mounts without screws, but there is a hole to secure it with a screw anyway (don't overtighten) - M3 size holes - Prints without supports _I hope this helps you as much as it has helped me, I'm very proud of this little thingie.
