Ender 3 V2 Electronics Box (Motherboard and Pi4)
thingiverse
This is an electronics box that replaces the stock motherboard case and accessories drawer. Allows you to install the Creality motherboard and Raspberry Pi (with relay hat) inside, along with two 16mm accessory switches to control PSU and LED light, and up to 4 buck converters. My buck converters are set up as follows: 1 for the raspberry pi, 1 for case fans, 1 for part cooling fan. Last spot could be used for hot end fan if desired. Has an opening in front to stow excess USB cables, as well as two openings on the front left/right to route USB cables for webcams. Has room for two Noctua 40mm fans. Slides into the rails for mounting in the Ender 3 V2. Designed to print with the front face down on the build plate. Will print on the Ender 3 V2, face down, diagonally across the build plate. All wiring can be routed through the stock routing notch near the power supply. 5v Noctua fans provide plenty of airflow at a reasonable noise level at around 3.5v. Required hardware: 14x M3x6 screws for attaching covers 3x M3x6 screws for attaching motherboard 4x M2.5x6 standoffs/screws for attaching Pi 2x M2x6 screws per buck converter 8x fan screws 2x 16mm push switches of your choosing Buck converter link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PDGG84B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Noctua fan link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NEMGCIA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Switches: https://www.ebay.com/itm/353135473366
