Ender 3 V-Slot LED-Strip (IKEA LED-Berg)
thingiverse
A set of brackets for the Ender 3, to mount LED Strips from IKEA. (Will work on V2 and Pro, too) I had them laying around and tried to fit them to my new printer. As they are rated for 24V, they are my go to choice for adding light to machines. The brakets are designed to fit inside the V-Slots, that the rollers don´t touch the LED´s. You need: 9x V-Slot_LED-Strip_Bracket.stl 3x V-Slot_Wire_Guide.stl A set of IKEA LED-Berg LED Strips Soldering iron Wires (You can use the ones which come with the set) How to mount: Remove the LED PCB from the LED Berg strips. (Push in the small plastic knob) Attach 3 LED-Strip brackets to the PCBs Solder long wires to the left PCB on both ends. Remove the top V-Slot extrusion. Guide one pair of wires through the housing to the power supply (or other proper power source) Push a wire guide into the left V-Slot, to keep the wires in place. Push in the PCB into the V-Slot. It is a very tight fit and the corners might need some sanding. The tight fit is needed to keep them in position. So don´t over do the sanding! Shorten the wires that one side fit to the power supply and the other to the next PCB. Solder the next PCB to the wires of the first. In this way do the rest. Before you finally attach the upper V-Slot, put wire guides on the top of the left and right V-Slot. I added connectors between the LED-PCBs to make mountning easier.
