Ender 3 triple 40mm direct drive conversion with v6 hotend (REMAKYR v3.1)
prusaprinters

It's a third version, so most of errors and breaking stuff was fixed. First version had geared extruder, maybe in V4 i will bring back that feature. For now reliability comes first.
It took me a long time to create the whole thing (about 2-3 months, testing and rest of stuff). So consider supporting this project or me if i helped you ;d

Youtube video showing working REMAKYR v3:

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/SkrhxlAu4Kk

Changelog:

v3.1 / 08.11.2022
- changed left and right fan duct geometry, to get closer with nozzle.
- better airpath when using silicone sock on R and L fans.

v3 / 27.10.2022
- Initial public release

v2/ 14.08.2022 - Only blender concept

v1 / 21.07.2022 - Original version with geared extruder

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDQr-su5ph8

About current mod:
Mod uses stock extruder, extruder motor and base palate from ender 3.

You get full build volume, 0 collision and great weight distribution on base plate.

Extruder is mounted 180 degree (for weight distribution and frame collision). Because of that you will need 8-9mm M4 screw for extruder runner, longer screw will collide with nema mount. You can unscrew one from ender 3 frame i get mine in that way.

You should get something around 51g of used material, without brim is 50g. If you want full infill it's about 60g, so not that much more. With ABS it should be lighter than that.

For screws info and build plate placement look at the photos

Material used to print that thing was a premium PET-G - Devil Design blue translucent

Assembly - In order with first file number

To reduce clearance of fan duct, print spacers or use metal ones. For me 2x 0.5mm spacers work fine.

Printed on heavy modded ENDER 3 with Direct Drive

PRINTING PARAMETERS

Quality

layer height: 0.08-0.16 (for bonding - lower is better)

nozzle: 0.4mm

Walls 0.8mm is good enough

Horizontal expansion 0, but you might need 0.1mm (for hotend base).

Wall ordering: From outside to inside

Minimal line width: 0.2mm

print thins walls: yes

minimal feature size: yes

TOP/BOT 0.8mm

Pattern: Zigzag

Skin overlap percentage: 20%

Monotonic Top/Bottom order

Ironing - YES

Speed

Infill 48 -Outer 15 -Inner 24 -TOP/BOT 24 -Travel 150

Initial 15 and initial travel 100

Infill

pattern: cubic

density: 20%

infill line multiplier: 2

connect infill lanes: YES

Material

ABS or PET-G (ABS is better and lighter than PET_G)

Printing temp: 250C with PET-G.
