Ender 3 Torture Tower
thingiverse
I designed a structure that reached the maximum height of my Ender 3's build area, which measures 250mm on each side. I also added an extra 20mm to ensure it extended beyond the normal limits. To test its capabilities, I sliced the model using vase/spiral mode and set the speed at 100mm/s as it approached the top of its possible build volume. If you have a different printer, simply scale this design up or down (only on the z-axis) to match your printer's maximum build height. I've included two gcode files, both sliced specifically for the Ender 3. One is the standard tower model, which will push the Z travel system to its limits. The other is a "low and wide" version, designed to stress test the x and y carriages.
