I designed this part specifically for the back of the MKS TFT28 upgrade I purchased. It works seamlessly with the bevel adapter that Michael at Teaching Tech created, which can be found on Thingiverse - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3371159. Following his step-by-step tutorial allowed me to successfully upgrade my printer's display to a touch screen; you can view his video for reference by visiting the link above. However, I did notice one issue - I couldn't find a suitable cover for the original display. This is where this design comes in! This part prints flawlessly without supports. To ensure a smooth installation process, be sure to clear the screw holes beforehand as they can cause issues during assembly. The Wi-Fi port, power port, USB, and SD card slot are all accessible - although I personally don't foresee using them often, they're there if needed. Installation is straightforward and requires no additional hardware beyond what came with the original display. It's also designed to mount onto a 4040 like any other part. To minimize potential gaps during printing, consider adjusting your slicer's perimeter settings to optimize print efficiency.
