I required an effective means of mounting the standard part cooling fan following the upgrade of the hotend extruder fan duct to this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2160958. This new setup offers significantly increased visibility and is substantially lighter than the original stock version. However, it will not be compatible with the standard hotend enclosure, but may fit with other ducts besides the one linked above. The same bolts can be reused to securely install the fan.
