Ender 3 Spool Holder

Ender 3 Spool Holder

New design of filament spool holder using 3 6004-2RSH bearings. I've cut it up into 5 different pieces but all of these fit on the build plate of the ender 3 easily. You will need to print 1 of each and 3 of the spacers. The rendering shows the way it should be put together. The gaps between the spacers are where the bearings should go. On my printer the tolerances are set that I didnt need to glue any of the parts together and it seems to work just fine. Although I would probably glue the main shaft into the nut end for security but not other end piece just in case you need to remove it change the bearings. When printing the nut you will need to support it and I would suggest you brim the main shaft to make sure it doesn't fall over. Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 3 Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 15% Filament: Generic PLA PLA Blue Notes: Increase the infill of the shaft and spool nut end to 50% or more for strength. Brim the shaft just in case and add supports to the spool nut end Post-Printing Assembly Place the main shaft in the nut end. Then add a bearing followed by a spacer until all the spacers are used up. Then add the end cap - should be a tight fit and no glue is required. Then place this through the current spool holder bracket and tighten up the nut. (might be tricky at first to get on but once it is on it screws up tight) Category: 3D Printer Parts
