Ender 3 spool holder for BMG extruder
thingiverse
I modified my BMG clone extruder's orientation by angling it 90 degrees from its standard position to eliminate the hassle of running it in reverse or attaching it to a bracket. This modification works flawlessly, but I found that the stock spool holder is now skewed to one side. This spool holder skillfully adjusts the spool so it feeds perfectly into my BMG extruder and is simple to adjust for various sized spools, utilizing 608 bearings to create a smooth filament path. Part list: * 4x M8x30 mm * 4x 608 bearings * 4x M8 nuts * 2x attached STL printed in any material with the Ender logo facing towards the build plate I reused the same screws and T-slot nuts originally used for the spool holder to attach them to the top bar according to images, moving them to fit the width of my spool. I guided the filament on the back down to the BMG extruder for a seamless function. I placed the bearings on the chamfer side of each holder so that the Ender logo faces outward on both sides.
