This is a versatile filament spool holder designed for direct drive of the extruder. You will need to obtain: 1x pipe, D8 x 146mm long, 2x bearing type 608 (diameter 8 / outside diameter 22 / width 7), 2x screw M4 x 8 mm, 4x screw M4 x 10 mm, 2x screw M4 x 20 mm, 2x nut M4, 4x T-nut M4. The spool mounting cylinder is universal and suitable for all types of spools. The filament guide frame allows adjustment of the range of movement of the filament. The spool brake prevents free movement of the spool. To enhance efficiency, I applied polyurethane foam to the contact surface. The brake has proven particularly effective when printing in the uppermost position - the filament remains on the spool due to being under tension.
