This extension can be used with or without the central nut, depending on the spool's requirements, and clicks into place when fully inserted. This extension is not meant to replace the original spool holder but rather enhance its load capacity. The rigid yet short original tube benefits from an extended support through this plug-in piece, significantly reducing forces that could lead to layer separation in printed objects of similar length. Consequently, multi-kg spools can be easily supported.
