Ender 3 Spool Bracket

Needed to mount the spool low so I found a great strong 4040 bracket by Brasse duplicated and flipped trimmed and voila! Low slung slick side mount thanks to Edison Ong on the Creality Ender-3 3d printer user Facebook group for the idea I love this mount. One benefit of using a low mount is it gets the weight off the top of the gantry which should get rid of the shaking at high print rates especially when using dampening feet another benefit is clearance above the printer this mod reduces the spooled height with dampener feet from 28-1/2" to 19-1/2" (724mm to 495mm) yet another benefit it does this without using any more table space still working on the filament guide posting the one pictured but will be finding/making something smoother edit I updated the filament guide deleted one of the rings it was causing too much friction if you already printed the five ring guide you can simply clip off the smallest ring with nips print both STLs the way they sit with no supports print the guide at 100% infill it needs all the help it can get lol and the bracket at 50% minimum infill five layers in the shell use v slot nuts and bolts for the 4040 connection and some small nuts and bolts for the stock holder to bracket.
