This spool holder base has been significantly upgraded to lie flat on the print surface, a major improvement over its original version. The original design required users to lower it into the print surface because it wasn't level at the bottom. Additionally, the new and improved base is thicker and more robust, allowing for bolts and nuts to be used to secure the factory Ender 3 metal bracket to the printed base, rather than relying on the factory screws which would cut into plastic.
