I picked up some compact filament spools weighing around 200 to 250 grams each. Unfortunately, they had very small holes that wouldn't fit on the standard spool holder's original design, with the holes being roughly 17 or 18 millimeters in diameter. So, I rummaged through my toolbox and found a nut with threading from ChunkAhoy, then created a custom Spool Holder from scratch, carefully shaping it to have an outer diameter of about 15 millimeters at one end and 10 millimeters at the other. It fits my mini spools perfectly now.
